Understanding Student Finance
Tuition fees
Tuition fees vary by course and are subject to change each academic year. Detailed fee information for each course is available on our course pages.
- Included in your tuition fee: Teaching, learning resources, any registration costs, student support services
- Additional cost to budget for: Textbooks, stationery, photocopying/printing, accommodation, living costs, travel, leisure activities
If there are any additional costs required for your course, such as any textbook purchases, these are detailed on your course webpage and included in your offer letter to help you plan accordingly.
Student Finance
Home fee status students may be eligible for financial support from the UK Government for your studies through the Master’s Loan. Payments for the Master’s Loan will be issued to you directly, and you will then be responsible for making your tuition fee payments.

Deposits
Once you have received an offer for your course, a tuition fee deposit required to secure your place. The amount due will be confirmed in your offer letter and must be paid before enrolment. We recommend payments using our Flywire payment portal for your deposit/tuition fees payments. Flywire offers secure and tracked payments via bank transfers or debit/credit cards. Alumni
If you studied your undergraduate programme through QA Higher Education’s university partnerships, you may be eligible for the following:
- Reduced deposit amount: to secure your place upon acceptance of your offer
- Alumni scholarship: if you are eligible this will be detailed in your offer letter
Our alumni scholarship is also available to those who studied at undergraduate level with Swansea University in Swansea.

Paying your fees
We’ve partnered with Flywire, an online payment portal, to make your deposit and tuition payments secure and hassle-free. When you pay through Flywire, you can pay via bank transfer or debit/credit card. Plus, you’ll be able to track your payment status on their website, app, or through text alerts. For postgraduate students, our Finance Team will work with you to set up a payment plan during enrolment that matches your Student Finance payment dates. And of course, you can make your tuition fee payments easily through Flywire.
